What is the CQC
The CQC are the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure services are safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-run.
They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. The CQC publishes what they find, including a performance rating to help people choose care.
